FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA - It seemed to be the most sought after information at this years Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, Birth Control for boaters. Oh, no that's Berth Control for boaters. New boats are not all you'll find at these boat shows. TideSlide Mooring Products made sure everyone was aware of their new berth control (mooring product) for boats at this year's FT. TideSlide Mooring Products has designed and patented a tidal mooring device that lets boaters tie up their boats with no more slack lines. The mooring product is a 316L solid stainless steel shaft with a UHMW polyethylene, UV stabilized block, that is self lubricating and moves freely up and down on the shaft. The block also has rotational ability that is self- adjusting for tides, wind and wakes. You can position your boat where you want it, tie off with snug lines and the boat stays in position while riding up and down with the motion of the water. The TideSlide is offered in varied sizes and can be used for three or four point tie-up, side tie or used in conjunction with floating docks that have dolphin piles. The product proved itself over and over again, to skeptical customers at the show, when a satisfied customer would happen to walk up to the TideSlide booth and profess to prospective customers their love of the product and express their sincere gratitude towards inventor, Mark Baluha, that the product does exactly what Mark said it would do and has made their lives much easier, now that they have TideSlides.
